    In Loughnavalley, about four miles from Dysart there lived many years ago a family named (-) and some of the family reside there still.
    They had a son who had not right sense, that is to say, he was what the old people called "a bit of an Omadhaun".
    On this account he was not sent to School until he was a big boy about ten years of age.
    The master set him to work and gave him a headline to copy and found that he was badly able to do it.
