    by Micheal Lyons of Frewin. "St.Brendan's Well" in the district of Cullion Mullingar has power to cure people of sickness. When a person took ill a bottle of water from St. Brendan's Well was fetched and the sick person drank it.

  2. Near Barnstown there is a place called Kilbixy where there is a well. Lot of people go there to get cured of pains and aches. There is a bush over the well and everyone who goes there puts a bit of rag on the bush. I do not know why. The bush is always covered with rags.
