  1. Bread.
    Bread is he chief food of man, it is very easy made. Mostly all the people in the country use whole meal or wheaten bread.
    The wheaten bread is very easy to be made.
    First we must have a good turf fire.
    Then we put the oven on the hearth and put coals under it. Then a dish was got, and flour was put into it and afterwards salt and breadsoda was put into it then they are all mixed together, then buttermilk is put into it and made into a stiff dough.
    Then it is turned out on a board and kneaded till the edges are smooth
    It is then put into a very hot oven and the lid put on it and coals put on the lid and baked for about an hour according to the size of the cake.
