- Kissing the bride
After a marriage people rush to kiss the bride. The first that kisses her will be the next married. - Horning the wedding
If a widow or a widower marry people horn them because they say it is unlucky. They blow into cow's horns and bottles. This makes a din around the house and parish. If the married couple don't give a dance and drink they are horned also. This custom is dying out.
