At last a group of seagulls were seen perching on something on the water. Four men pulled a boat in that direction. Sure enough there was Willie and he was standing on the water. His clothes were quite dry and he looked so life - like that the men nearly fainted. It is said Mrs Leonard his mother had a dream the previous night and in it she was warned of Willie's fate. She begged him not to go but he only laughed at her. Here are the words she is supposed to have said to him.
