  1. My father has many farm animals. He has four cows, - two pollies and two with big horns - four suckling calves 3 yearlings and 4 stores. The cows graze in the fields during the year, but in Winter we bring them in at night. Usually we take them in about the 1st November, and put them out again in May, but of course if the weather is very wet and nothing but bottoms fields for them they sometimes come in during the early Autumn. My father: says the cows aren't as good as the ones his father had when he was young that they had a cow, fifty years ago and they used to sell 5lbs butter every week. She was a pure white cow and they kept her till she died. Some cows are no good for milk. They put it all in their horns thats why people like "polly" cows. She had 20 calves. The cows are given
