  1. The monastery of Fore was founded by Saint Fechim early in the seventh century. It was situated in a firm spot of ground in the midest of a bog. There were the seven wonders of fore the mill which st Fechim hewed out with his own hands he says too the mill was not respected and in his own good time the vengenans of God fell on those three soldiers that destroyed it and one became insane the other died suddenly and another committed crime in the mill and was comsued by fire.
