Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)His mighty hand he rested them,

This account was told to me by Mr Francis Farrelly Kilbeg.
- In the parish of Kilbeg there were poets in the old times that I have heard of. One of those was Murty Clarke who lived at Staholmog. He was also a hedge school-master. He composed some good poems and songs. One of his best was, "Raffin Races". Another was composed about a Robbery which was done in the "Strand". The cloths were all stolen off the hedges where they were all out to dry after being washed. In this poem he tells of a man named Monaghan whose shirts were stolen.When auld Pat Pat Monaghan heard the sad news,
