   Warts The cure of a wart is to get a black snail when your are not looking for him. You must rub him to your wart and hang him on a white thorn bush. You must rub him to your wart for nine mornings and as he is withering away the wart will be withering away. Mumps The cure for the mumps is to go out to the pigsty and say "pigs, pigs take the mumps, mumps, mumps go to the pigs." Whooping-cough "The" cure for the whoopingcough is to tie a red ribbon arond your neck until you are cured.
