    On The road between Clonmellon and Killalon there is a small well it situated on the side of the road. Any person who wishes to be cured must visit the well there times and each time bless themselves with the water of the well and tie a string on the bush beside it. After third visit the wart are said to disappear.
    Cure of Warts
    Get a straw and make it in the form of a cross and apply it to the wart saying In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Then the straw is buried and as soon as it decays the wart disappears
    Cure of running worm
    Every Seventh son has the cure of the running worm. When the baby is born a worm is brought in and placed in the baby's hand and if the worm dies the child has the cure of the running worm. This person also has the cure for toothache.
