- The Bridge of the Man in the Sack
There was a man buried in a field in Kiltoom. Every time cattle went out into the field they would go mad. One night the owner of the cattle went into the field where he knew the grave was he dug up the corpse and put the remains into a sack as the coffin was rotten and buried him in the sack about a half a mile from Trim. The cattle never went mad after but grazed in the field quietly. It was close to a small bridge the grave was made and the bridge goes by the name 'man in the sack'.
