There is a holy well in Termonfeckin called Trinity Well. It is said that there was a woman cured from blindness at this well. She washed her eyes three times in the water and she cured. The old cure for the whooping cough or for a cold was to put a frog in a box and cough into the box and the cough would be cured.
The cure the old people had for consumption was to get a dandelion and squeeze the juice out of it and drink it.
