    cure for sores on your face was to get a herring and tip each sore three times. The sores would be cured. Biles were cured with a poultice of boiled nettles and porridge.
    There is a holy well in Termonfeckin called Trinity Well. It is said that there was a woman cured from blindness at this well. She washed her eyes three times in the water and she cured. The old cure for the whooping cough or for a cold was to put a frog in a box and cough into the box and the cough would be cured.
    The cure the old people had for consumption was to get a dandelion and squeeze the juice out of it and drink it.
    It is said that many of the old people long ago cured many ailments with some of these cures.
