(continued from previous page)until they were nine or ten years. The poor people were not so well educated but the rich people sent their children away foreign to have them educated. The poor people had to leave school after a few years to go out earning their living. The school mentioned was surrounded by trees and it was in a very lonely place. They sat on boxes for they had no other seats. They had no desks and it is on tables they left their slates. They made those tables themselves.(no title)
