  1. There is a well known fairy fort in the townland of Arleman. It is surrounded on the outside by trees and inside these stands a bank of earth The fort is situated by the roadside An old story says that the Danes built it in olden times. It is believed that a certain woman, was passing by the fort late at night, and a light shone around her. She looked back, and saw fairy people waving at her.
    When she went back to the place where they were they disappeared and the woman disappeared also, People are afraid to pass that
