    About a mile from where I live there stands a beautiful fort in the lands of Ur. Patrick Cahill Askeaton. It is circular in shape and is surrouned by a bank of earth and trees growing on top of it. It is said that the Danes are supposed to have set these tress One night a certain man was returning home from card playing and as he was passing by the fort he heard music. He looked in and saw faries dancing under the trees.
    On arriving home he dreamt that there was gold hidden there. He gathered courage and went
