A man was found buried in several feet of snow, some miles from Ardagh. It seams he was coming home on a bicycle he could not go any further as he was exhausted.He was left on the road during the night. Next morning some men were going to the creamery when they discovered the bicycle lying near the ditch. After an hours search they found him dead.After a week it melted away.
Every place was very wet Rivers and streams were overflowing their banks. It was the greatest blizzard which occurred for many years.
