If a person had a "stye" it would cure it to look through a gold ring. To get rid of a wart rub a snail to it and put the snail on a thorn. According as the snail withers, the wart withers.

   There is a certain weed growing in gardens, and thick white juice in it, and is supposed to be a cure for warts, when spread carefully on them.

   To cure warts get a snail and rub it to them. Then put the snail on a whitethorn bush and when the snails withers the warts wither too.

   To cure a stye look out through a gold ring and rub your fasting - spit to the eye.
