Long ago mostly all the people wore clogs. The man that used to make the clogs Mr Williamson and Mr Moloney. The used to make the clogs with timber soles and leather uppers. The name of the piece of leather that you use to put in the top is called borriskeen and the piece of leather that they used to put in the heel is called a lift. Long ago the names of the old shoemakers were Wisomas, Moloney and Mc Grath. All shoes are made up of the following articles sole heel toe-top(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
