   There was a man and he had three sons. He did not like the eldest one. He sent a hames to the forge to be mended. It was about twelve oclock one night and he asked his three sons would some of them go to the forge for the hames. The youngest said he would and his father wouldn't let him go. So he asked them again and the eldest said he would. On his way he met an old woman and she said "if you dont come back this road I will kill you where ever I will meet you." The forgeman was gone to bed and he got up and wanted him to stay there that night. He said he must go home. He met the woman on his way home again. She asked him which would he have a parcel of boxings, a parcel of chokings, or a parcel of wrestlings. He said a parcel of chokings and he put the hames a round her neck and she couldn't do anything when she had the steel around her neck. He
