   My townland.
   My house is situated a mile and a half from the village of Cloonagh, which means horse-meadow.
   Most houses in the vicinity are thatched, with the exception of a couple of slated houses. There are about six families in the town-land, and a few old people.
   Our house is a two storey one, with four bed-rooms, parlour, and kitchen.
   There is a garden at the back of it, where we cultivate potatoes, flowers, fruit-trees, and all kinds of vegetables.
   In front of the house there is a lawn, where flowers bloom at all times of the year. At the back of the house there is a big spacious yard, and
