   The Landlord of these townlands were the Leslies of Glaslough. The Leslie family still reside at Glaslough (He was not) they were not bad landlords and were generally not hard on the people. He often gave timber to his tenants to help them build or repair their houses. In winter time he gave clothes to the poor. When poor people gave him the rent he would ask them if they were able to pay it and if he thought that they were very poor he would give some of the money back. He would pay tenants for making & cleaning drains.
   Not many people were evicted by the Leslies. A family called Grahams who lived in Drumagelvin were evicted by the Leslies because they would not pay the rent. The roof was taken off the house but the walls were left standing. The walls of this house are still there. The land is now in the possession of
