Leading into this rath from the main road is a gateway which is supposed to be opened every night between ten and twelve o'clock, during these hours music can be heard probably "jazz" the good people enjoying themselves dancing.
One young man from the district volunteered and went about three hundred years ago to enjoy the festivities. He became engaged to the queen who happened to be a widow. They got married and I suppose the Queen and King are happy to this day, although he never returned to tell the tale.
