  1. (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)
In the morning he was nearly dead, during the night the fairies had him torn inside in the bed. In the morning he said that he believed on them and he said that he would never again sleep there. When the ruins of it were there the people used to see the light there all the time until it was knocked down altogether.

  2. Not so very long ago, there lived a man called Mike Sullivan. He did not take any notice of being out late. One night he was out very late and he met a funeral on the lands down road. When he saw it he ran up the fields and home, he heard the noise after him. When he went into his own house he heard knocking and kicking at the door, but he would not open it, so after a while they went away. If he might wait with the funeral it might not have followed him.
