    The tooth was packed with bread soda, and all the sour juice came out of the tooth, and the pain was eased.
    Boil
    Hot water was put into a bottle and put near the fire to keep it warm. After a while the hot water was taken out of the bottle. Then the mouth of the bottle was put to the head of the boil and the steam that was in the bottle after the hot water broke the boil, and all the matter that was in the boil flowed into the bottle.
    Earaches
    Castor oil was boiled, and a bit of cotton wool was dipped into a spoon full of the hot oil, and was put into the ear.
    Sore throat
    Boiled potatoes were put into a sock and tied around the throat.
    Headache
    Vinegar was rubbed to the head.
    Rash
    Wild sage was boiled and the juice of it was rubbed to the skin.
    Burn
    Bread soda was rubbed to it.
    Cold
    Carrigeen Moss was boiled and strained and the juice of it was drunk.
    Pain in the stomach
    An oven was put near the fire, and a plate was then put into the oven to warm it. When the plate was warm it was put to the person's stomach. It was my father Jeremiah Hogan of
