- When the wind is from the south east there is supposed to be heavy rain. When the wind is from the east we have hard frosty weather. When the wind is from the north west we have cold showers and when the wind is from the north we generally have snow. When the swallows fly low we are supposed to have bad weather. When rain is approaching the sky is very dark and cloudy. When the weather is wet the mountains look near. When the seagulls fly in from the sea the weather is supposed to be stormy.
