  1. A Ghost Story
A man from Lower Rosses was up in Rosses Point one night. It was late when he was going home, it was a bright night. He was just crossing the gap of Barr na Gcnocan when he heard a horse galloping around the fort nearhand. When he looked towards it, he saw a whitel horse with a man riding it, and then it disappeared. The next night he was up at Rosses Point again and it was late when he ws going home. The people wanted him to stay the night at the Point but he would not. He was crossing the gap. He saw a man and he knew the man, but the was dead. The man walked before him till he came to a stream when the dead man stood up before him crying. When the live man went to cross the stream and the dead man stopped him and would not let him pass. The live man asked what did he want, and he told him about a debt he had to pay and the told the live man to pay the debt.
