- There lived in Drum in Co. Sligo many people who had a number of cows. Among these people was a witch whose name was Biddy Jamison and she had no cows.
Every morning when the cows were feeding in the fields she used to turn herself into a hare and take the cows' milk from them.
One morning the farmers saw her, and they let out a crowd of hounds after her. One hound bit her, and when they went into the witche's house they saw her sitting in the corner with a track of a bite in her side.
