    Long ago the local country people used make their own blankets, flannel and woollens clothes. First they sheered their sheep and washed the wool and laid it out to dry in the sun.
    Then two or three women would card the wool and spin it and put it to thicken in soap and water. After a week or so they would lift it and loom it with a instrument kept in every house and district for the occasion of looming.
    Then when these blankets and woollens were manufactured the people would go then to the markets and sell the goods, and wear their own home spun clothes.
