and Saturday no day at all.Money is given as dowry and sometimes stock and goods are given.A wedding feast is held in the house of the bride during the day and in the house of the bridegroom during the night. Long ago straw boys used to visit the houses. They used to be dressed like mummers and when they used to come into the house they used to dance enough and then they would have to get plenty of drink before they would leave the house. Now a days there is no hauling home because there are only two or three(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
