    Old Crafts.
    In olden times people used to make candles with tallow. On twelfth night they used to light rush candles steeped in tallow. There is an old man named Patrick Dolan living in townland of Donaree in the parish of Cappatagle, and he makes baskets. He thatches houses also.
    Mr. Martin Dooly lived in the townland of Eastwell in the parish of Cappatagle, he used to make spades and sell them.
