- One night a little man came to my great grand mother's home and asked her to come with him that his wife needed her. He told her not to be afraid as no harm would befall. He had his little horse outside to take her & would bring her safely back again. So my great grand mother got ready and [got] and went with him. The little horse was ready so they both got on and away they rode. They rode for about twenty five minutes but my grand mother never saw the place before. When they were drawing near the spot, the little man warned her if food or drink was offered to her to refuse it. They went into a little house where a fairy lay in bed & three children sat round the fire. When my grand mother was there about an hour, a baby fairy was born. They were all greatly delighted and wanted her to eat and drink but she would not. When she attended to the fairy mother & baby, the little man told her to get ready for home. He got her on the horse & left her home, but she never saw the place before nor never saw the fairies afterwards.
