    Judge of Carrowkillen, Crossmolina, Co. Mayo. He was a stepbrother to Michael Donnelly of Carrowkilleen and he stayed there. He was a labouring man and died a few years ago in Ballina Hospital, and he is buried in Kilmurry, graveyard. He is supposed to have composed a song about the "Pulladoohy races". Long ago there used to be races in Pulladoohy, Crossmolina.
    One night some years ago there was a dance in "Traynors" of Ballyscanlon[?] Crossmolina, and when the people were going home from the dance a terrible storm has risen and Martin Judge of Carrowkilleen composed a song about it. Thomas Ginty wrote a song about Cloone House, Ardagh.
