“Many years ago there lived at the Southern end of this parish in a mountainy place, a man and his wife and family.”

While they were churning, a next-door neighbour, came and threw a crock of butter in on the floor. It was by turning themselves, by witch craft, into different forms that people, in the olden times stole and took the milk and butter from the cows in the fields.
