    At this time of year the sheep are lambing and the children geting up up get a lamb.

    On Sunday they would bring out a little fire and roast them
    This is a prayer to save the lambs "Glas ar iongair, Glas ar fhiacal Glas ar ciniata na coille - Dríghid Fágaim acu Pádreac a leigim chuca Cocall Mhaire, cochall Críost uimpi mo chuid uan, go dtagaidh mé féin chucu." My grandfather says it should be glas ar uachtar crann na coille instead of Glas ar ainita na coill.
