  1. Long ago people used to have potatoes for the breakfast and for the dinner. They used to have tea and for the supper they used to have potatoes or else sliocar(?).
    They never used to eat any flour. They used to make oat-meal cakes.
    At Christmas some of the people used to buy a little flour but they didn't buy any more flour for the year round.
