    Monday for health, Tuesday for wealth and Wednesday the best day of all. Thursday for crosses, Friday for bosses and Saturday no day at all. Those are the lucky and unlucky days for getting married.
    When you see three magpies that's a sure sign that somebody is getting married or that you will soon hear of a marriage.
    When the man or the woman that's getting married is out of the house it is right to take a coal in the tongs and throw it down on the floor after her or him as it may be.
