  1. There is a blessed well in my townland called St Michael's Well. A great many people visit it and do rounds on St. Michael's Day. Many people are cured of sore eyes by rubbing the water to their eyes. Some people bring home the water. The people leave flowers, money, and candles at the well. They leave them over the well. There is a little stream near the well and above the well there is a big tree. There is the print of a hatchet and a saw in the tree.
