    Attaclune is the name of a townland near Machaire.it got its name because there was a meadow at the side of a cliff in this townland.Tobar Bhríde is the name of another field.It was so-called because there is a well in it that was blessed by a saint named Bríghde.Páirc na h-Abhain is the name of a field in Rylane in which there is a river running through.Páirc bán is the name of a field in Machaire .It is called that name because because in summer time it is covered with daisies.Sagart a Blárnach is the name of a place in the townland of Blárnach.It was so called because priests used to say Mass there in the bad times.Derrynaguillian got its name because there was a wood in it in which a lot of holly used to grow.
