in the graveyards. The dates there on are very ancient:- 1887, 1864, 1707, 1772, 1831, 1792, 1769, 1807, 1810. In the year 1824 the protestant church was built.
On some of these tomb stones there are crosses and on other Our Blessed Saviour is carved. Some of the stones are made of marble, others of stone and most of the crosses are made of wood.
Unbaptised children are buried at the foot of the churchyard where the ground is not consecrated. There are two divisions in the protestant graveyard. One for the Catholics and there other for the protestants. When the Catholics are buried in that graveyard the people take some clay from the Catholics graveyard and get it blessed by the priest. Then it is taken to the protestant graveyard and put on the top of the coffin.
