    breast. The captain of the soldiers asked the robin if he saw a man passing that way lately. "Not since the wheat was sown" said the robin. Then said the captain to his soldiers, we are on the wrong track, and had his men turned when a wren came flying and said: "The wheat was sown yesterday". At that moment they were turned again and went across the wheat field till they came to Our Lord. From that day forward the wren was cursed and called the devils bird, and ever since it has been hunted and persecuted.
