    the corner. There he left him in the corner for a few days. One day the man was out working and his wife was very busy doing the household work. Once when she was coming in with a bucket of potatoes she slipped and fell on the doorstep. when the fairy saw this he began to laugh. The woman went up to him and said scornfully if you don't tell what you are laughing at I'll burn you into cinders "yes" said the fairy, I am laughing at you falling on a crock of gold. Immediately she went out and called her husband. When the man came home they lifted the stone and sure enough there they found a crock of gold.
