  1. There was a man living over in Inch with his friends. One night he was in bed with another man in the room that was supposed to be haunted. The other man was asleep and he was awake. He heard cups and saucers rattling and he saw the lamp lighting in the kitchen. He thought the people had got up again so he sat up in the bed and looked out the door. He saw a man walk up and close the door and after that something like a monkey came to the window and looked in at him. He did his best to awaken his cousin but he could not. He fell asleep and when he woke in the morning he had no shirt on him. He searched all the room and he could not get it. So he searched the kitchen and he got it near the fire.
