  1. There was a woman living in the corner of a field in this neighbourhood and near her house there was a fort. She was living by herself, and one night she went out for a walk. She heard galloping of horses and talking and laughing and beautiful music. She saw a light, and what was it but the fairies.
    There are three forts about the place and it was said that the fairies used to go from fort to fort on nightly visits.
