    Their flags in good order their pikes sharp and keen
    A prop of old Erin for love of the green

    Killinkere's aggravation to that rotten tribe
    Was Orangemen stir if you dare at the jibe
    Their drums at the Lodge sure old mick they did chase
    And the Prestons and Clarkes turned black in the fave

    Those blood thirsty orangemen hurry down their lead
    And said their best friend Old King William was dead
    Our grand days are ended we cannot deny
    And we'll not have a chief at the 12th of July

    Th poet is worthy, to get the applause
    For he is courageous he'll stand to the cause
    He is sound pillar in St Peter's flock
    On the grand 3rd of August he played at the walk
