    They came there with valour courageous and gay
    And they made orange lodges to take the decay

    Before he could see them his eyesight could fail
    And the horrors of music soon ended O'Neills

    O'Neill he died dancing with a merry decay
    For he got ordination from Billy's birthday
    He was a false preacher that lived at Knockbride
    But the sweet bands of Erin soon knocked him aside
