I am a jovial sort of chap

    I
I am a jovial sort of chap,
    As you can plainly see,
I've led an active sort of life,
    And nothing troubles me.
    II
I'm as happy as the day is long,
    All care I cast away,
And I always feel so jolly.
That I sing and sing each day.
    III
I love my dog, and I love my gun.
    I'm happy day and night,
And when my daily toil is o'er
    I keep my pipe slight.
