    Protestants but the Catholics continued burying around it.
    The graveyard was closed about five years ago as it is "fat with repleted burying" and now there is a new graveyard beside the Chapel.
    Often the inhabitants of Mullagh visit this old graveyard in curiosity and have found out that many of the graves are 500 years old. Indeed, it is one of the oldest Churchyards that are in Ireland, considering it was used in Mac Murrough's time about 800 years ago.
