    on the evening of St.John's Day bon-fires are lighted at the crossroads and the young people dance around it to the music of a local fiddler.
    On Good Friday the Rosary is recited at noon in almost every home. Visits are made to the chapel where the people make stations etc. "Good Friday Eggs" i.e. eggs laid on that day, were kept and given to any sick person as a tonic. The clock was put twenty minutes also.
