  1. The prayers that the people used to say long ago before starting work was. In the name of the father and of the son and of the holy Ghost amen, or in the name of God, or all for thee o Lord o my good Jesus all for thee. These prayers should be said before staring work.
I heard two prayers and the first one is. Before the close of the day. Creator to thee I humble pray. Wanting in the mercies sake
May nothing of my mind excite.
May dreams or panting of the night
Keep of my enemy of exso? My body know and clean as snow. To Jesus from a Virgin sprung. To glory give and praises sung. To God the father three and one.
This prayer should be said before going to bed at night.
