  1. Hidden Treasures
Written by Bridie Hennessey Castletara Corravary
collected from Philip Hennessy Castletara Corravary
Treasures were hidden in the heart of a tree. It was hidden by Tom Brady in the the time of the famine in Ireland. There were no attempts made to find it. Pat Brady got in a tree. It consisted of gold. He got it when he had the tree on the fire.
When the tree was almost burned, Pat Brady was sitting at the fire. The money flew out of the fire out of tree. He lifted the money and found it was gold.
There were no lights seen about it. There were no treasures hidden by danes or fairies. There are no other treasure stories that I heard of.
